SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS

(Public Notice of Filing—Tipton R-VI School District)

The Tipton R-VI School District encourages qualified persons interested in running for a position on the school board to file to be a candidate in the April 7th, 2026, election. Interested persons may file at the superintendent's office located at 334 US Hwy 50 West, Tipton, MO 65081.

Filing will begin on December 9 th , 2025, at 8:00 AM and will continue during the district's regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4 PM. Except for the first and last day of filing, filing will not occur on days the school district's central offices are closed due to inclement weather. Filing will also not occur on the following holidays and breaks when the school district's central offices are closed: Monday, December 22nd -Monday, December 29th, 2025. Filing will end on December 30th, 2025, from 12:00 PM-5:00 PM.

There are 3 positions available with three-year terms.

Snow and Ice Removal
Proposals DUE: Noon, Monday, November 24, 2025.

Tipton R-VI School District requests bids and proposals for snow and ice removal from December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2025, as needed. The school grounds are expected to be cleared of snow and ice before the start of school at 7 AM. The removal areas include the bus lane, elementary school parking lot, sidewalks leading to the school, circle drive, ag parking lot, central office, and student parking lot (football field).

Interested parties should include the following information: 

. 1)  A copy of their current insurance policy for commercial snow removal 


. 2)  A price per removal or one price for the season 


. 3)  Number of personnel available to complete the job
